Forgotten personality

Last time when I was cleaning my stuff I came across some things that were abandoned by me for a long time. Interestingly, I forgot them and put them somewhere else. As usual.

They were forgotten. With no return backs. And with no promises. How simple is it?

Actually, they were all the time there. Just waiting to be opened and remembered one day.

It’s like a time capsule. A great puzzle to solve. However, it’s not easy when the forgotten issues are connected with human emotions. Because usually, it gets a lot complicated.

Trying to remember while picking them up, something consistently pulled me back into my own memories. These memories that I would never remember in million lifetimes!

As I was dragged deeper into my thoughts, some moments of mine slowly started to reveal some tiny boxes that were packaged with my “forgotten” personality. As I opened it, guess what happened?

Oh man, they were full of a bunch of given up wishes, ambitions, and etc.

Maybe I do not remember most of them. But I do remember one of my strongest ambition; whom I wanted to be in the future!

The funny thing is it was the time to compare it with how I ended up now!

We humans sometimes love to go back and dig up the things, and the times from our childhood. Probably, we think that going through our lost memories makes us stronger at times when we fall. Since when we fall down something deep inside us is always in demand of taking our hand in order to get up again.

One sort of confession. Isn’t it? Well, I do not have an answer to that. But certainly, I do know that guiltiness what kills me for not coming up with proper meaning. For what?

It is because most of us know that how easily we gave up and left to be forgotten for some time!

“If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other” — Mother Teresa

At some point, forgotten memories seem to like to comparison between dist and dust particles out there. Dirt and dust are like mirror images of each other’. Both of them are good at covering and setting walls on things behind. Things that are valuable to us.

Or at least seem to be valuable for us. Things that make us who we are. Things that shape us. And things that simply keep us alive!

Dust, in contrast to dirt, is much more deceptive at some points. How?

Well, as things get dirty, our subconscious cells start to signal the horn that it’s time for tearing down newly structured walls and fences between an object & environment. That is an easy thing though. Since we know the exact timing for such signals.

On the other hand, it’s not like in the dynamics of dust! I have expressed it’s much more deceptive.

Since it looks like under the walls of dust as if everything is under control. And the connectivity between the internal-external system of an object works fine.

However, dust is a multi-level thing… With lots of layers. Thick layers. Slowly they will turn into thick CLOUDS. And at that time things start to change. Slowly one by one. With no returns! Since cloud formation is a non-returnable natural process.

After cleaning my stuff I sat down and listed some points as a reminder to myself. Like a written letter not to forget. I have made up my mind to read it from time to time. OK, here is the list:

  • never let down clouds of dust set layers on your personality

  • never dare to forget your own being

  • if you forget it, things will forget you!
