The Failure Story of Nokia
It’s always hard to make the FIRST STEP.
The first move.
The first kiss.
But as time passes we just simply get the mastery at whatever we are up to.
That’s the beauty of doing things every day.
Step by step.
Piece by piece.
The say - Sky is the limit.
Well, I would say - Our mindset is the limit.
It’s all in MIND. It’s all in YOU.
If you are strict with things you would like to finish, even the Universe opens a new path to your destination. And you’ll feel the FREEDOM.
I would like to bring the failure story of Nokia. The giant in modern telecommunication. Well, it used to be…
If you can’t change, then you’re subject to DEGRADATION.
A natural law.

Here is the last saying of Nokia's CEO: "We didn’t do anything wrong, but somehow, we lost"
Nokia was a respected cellphone manufacturer for a long time.
But it failed miserably and couldn't compete with iOS and Android platforms.

1) A Brief History
Nokia is a Finnish communication, founded in 1865. Nokia was a pioneer in the smartphone market. I still remember its legendary 3310 model. Now holding the latest smartphones seems like ages passed. Just around 20 yrs actually. So what went wrong?
2) Operating System
Symbian 60 series couldn't compete with the introduction - Apple iOS 2007 - Android 2008 The bottom line: Tried to improve the Symbian OS system and create something unique. Nokia moved too slowly in the market. Was too busy with feature adaptation.
3) Fast-Changing Market
Nokia failed to respond to the iPhone. Samsung moved quickly into the market. It chose Android at the right time. The adaptation process was quick, captured millions' attention with the Galaxy S series.
Simple roadmap:
- build anticipation
- drive demand
———————————
In Summary:
Nokia’s strategy was to stay the course and do nothing. They didn’t want to change and take risks. And that cost everything!
